I have just finished reading this book, and I must say it is a wonderful novel. I am always looking to “improve” myself and in doing that I consider all things, both fact and fiction. I, as a Mason, do not want to stand blindly to anything. I read this for two reasons, enjoyment and preparation. For one I enjoy his novels, in The DiVinci Code and The lost Symbol, Dan Brown has renewed the interest of history to many people. Second, if I were ever asked about anything mentioned in The Lost Symbol, I want to know how Mr. Brown portrayed it. I would not be surprised if another movie is in the works. I would like to give Mr. Brown credit, he has renewed the interest of many people

Just remember that Dan Brown is a fiction writer. This was illustrated and proven in “The DaVinci Code”. Unfortunately, not everyone understood that fact. The same will be true with “The Lost Symbol”. Questions will be raised, rumors will spread, and disinformation will abound. But the fact remains that this is a work of fiction.
